Day 26: Jude

Estimated Reading time: 2mins
Biblical text (choose the version you like): http://www.earlychristianwritings.com/jude.html
or http://www.esvbible.org/Jude/
How is the Old Testament used in this book?
Wycliff Bible Translators explain each OT reference in simple English. http://www.easyenglish.info/bible-commentary/jude-lbw.htm

Just joking
Who wrote this book? A mystery. It could be Jude the apostle (Luke 6:16; Acts 1:13), Jude the brother of Jesus (Matthew 13:55; Mark 6:3), both, and neither (someone using the pseudonym “Jude.”). Some have argued that since the author did not identify himself as an apostle and actually distances himself from them inJude 1:17, he cannot be identified with the Jude who is listed as one of the Twelve. If anything we know it wasn't Jude Law (Sorry, little joke there).
